Events

Enjoy spending time in nature and helping Jovial Concepts with their community garden! We will help with tasks such as weeding or harvesting, orchard maintenance, or vineyard revitalization! We will start with a bio blitz activity with a local nature expert, then get into volunteering with whatever they need assistance with! The harvested food goes to many different places in our community so the work we will do will help feed the hungry.

What to Bring:

- Layers for clothing 
We will be outdoors for the event, so please keep the weather in mind and plan accordingly!

Meet right by the Community Garden Beds, right off of S. Cole St, across from the restrooms and headquarters.

About Jovial Concepts:
Jovial Concepts is a Colorado nonprofit focused on improving access to fresh, healthy food through community gardens, sustainable agriculture, and food education. They grow and harvest produce at community gardens and other growing spaces, with some of that food going to local hunger-relief organizations and food banks. Volunteers help with hands-on projects like planting, harvesting, weeding, and maintaining garden spaces, while also supporting programs that connect people with gardening, food, and the community.
