Macey has been involved with MHYP since she moved to Denver from Virginia almost 3 years ago! Her favorite thing about MHYP are all of the friendships and connections she has made, it has helped her tremendously with getting Denver to feel like home. Outside of MHYP, Macey is an Executive Assistant to the CFO, CTO, and CPO at Vertafore, an insurance software company. In her free time, Macey loves going to Pilates classes, reading, baking, thrifting, hiking, and doing lots of arts and crafts.

Heather joined MHYP in March 2024 after moving to Denver without knowing anyone and was looking for a way to connect. Spoiler alert: it worked. Almost all of her Denver friends now have some connection to MHYP. She started volunteering with the Communications Committee in April and quickly found herself helping lead the charge on social media, email updates, and keeping members in the loop. She loves MHYP’s variety of events, the opportunity to grow her leadership and networking skills, and the chance to be part of a welcoming, driven, and fun community. Outside of MHYP, Heather works as a Proposal Coordinator at Merrick & Company, where she helps craft winning proposals for engineering contracts. In her free time, Heather enjoys going on walks in City Park, hanging out with friends, and exploring all the things Colorado has to offer.

Sandya is a public health dentist working at two Federally Qualified Health Centers, where she is part of integrated health teams dedicated to caring for underserved communities and ensuring that everyone has access to essential health services. Since moving to Colorado a year and a half ago, Sandya has really enjoyed getting involved in the community and is passionate about creating a welcoming space for others while building meaningful connections both in and out of the office. She joined MHYP shortly after moving, and is grateful for the supportive community the group has introduced. Outside of work, Sandya is planning a wedding with her partner, shares life with a cat and a dog, and enjoys art, music, and trying new things, with recent hobbies including gardening and performing locally with a Bollywood dance group. Sandya is excited to continue building connections in Denver and is thankful for MHYP and all the opportunities that help make the city feel like home.

Ashley has been a proud member of Mile High Young Professionals for the past two years. She loves the sense of community MHYP fosters and the opportunities it creates to connect with like-minded individuals who are driven, collaborative, and always up for a good conversation. Professionally, Ashley works as an Office Life & Services Specialist at an international travel and education company (EF), where she plans events, cultivates a vibrant office culture, and ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling (she’s been to over 30 countries!), exploring Denver’s food and coffee scene, and finding creative ways to bring people together. She’s passionate about building connections, creating memorable moments, and helping others see the world.

Madeline was born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to Colorado to study finance at the University of Colorado Boulder (Sko Buffs!). She now works as a Financial Planner at The Millstone Evans Group, where she’s passionate about helping individuals and families invest and prepare for their future. Madeline joined MHYP in January 2025 and has loved how quickly she’s been able to connect with others and get involved in the community. Her favorite parts of MHYP include the ongoing opportunities to network in lively settings across Denver, the many new friendships, and, of course, the spirited sports leagues. In her free time, Madeline enjoys Pilates, golf, and reading.
