Economist Richard Wobbekind of the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Leeds School of Business Tuesday said Colorado’s economy is growing faster in 2013 than previously expected. At the halfway point in 2013, Colorado’s job-growth rate is up by 2.3%, with the job-growth rate expected to increase to 2.5%, up significantly from the projected 1.8% in December. The state gained about 52,400 jobs from May 2012 to May 2013.
